Adopt - A - Child Photography

Rosanne Olson teaches Adopt-A-Child Photographers about light.

Our photographers are special. They volunteer their time so that these children can have an amazing portrait taken. What is in it for them? Good karma and presentations once or twice a year from masters of photography in Seattle. In May,  we were invited into the studio of Rosanne Olson (www.rosanneolson.com) to learn about location lighting to help them while photographing children in foster care.

Last fall, we had Robert Hood, the multimedia producer for The Fred Hutch newsroom. He came to Jennifer Loomis’ studio (www.jenniferloomis.com) and spent two hours with our photographers talking about easy lighting techniques that he has learned after years being a photojournalist and multimedia producer.

Robert Hood, from the Fred Hutch, teaches Adopt-A-Child Photographers aabout some lighting techniques he uses as a photojournalist n Jennifer Loomis' studio.
